CAMERA SET
 D ZOOM     ON, OFF  360x digital zoom 
 16:9WIDE   ON, OFF  interpolated digital widescreen mode
 STEADYSHOT ON, OFF  digital steadyshot mode
 N.S.LIGHT  ON, OFF  IR illuminator light in nightshot mode


VF SET
 VF B.L.   BRIGHT, BRT NORMAL   viewfinder brightness. This menu item
                                available only when using battery
                                fixed at "BRIGHT" when using AC adaptor

TAPE SET			
 AUDIO MODE  12BIT, 16BIT	12 bit or 16 bit audio recording (one stereo channel only)
 []REMAIN     AUTO, ON  display tape remaining indicator when 5 minutes left, or always


SETUP MENU
 CLOCK SET  --:--:--   set time
 AUTO TV ON  ON, OFF   control Sony TV power via IR signal
 TV INPUT   VIDEO1     control Sony TV input channel

                               (different time zone)
 BEEP    MELODY, NORMAL, OFF   noises camera makes when buttons are pushed
 COMMANDER  ON, OFF            enable or disable IR remote
 REC LAMP   ON, OFF            red LED indicator showing when recording
 INDICATOR  BL OFF, BL ON      backlighting of LCD display on side of camera 
 this menu item available only when using battery

Menu settings in VTR mode


VTR SET
 HiFi SOUND   STEREO, 1, 2sound from R+L stereo channels, or only R or L channel
 AUDIO MIX    ST1----^----ST2   slider with 17 possible mix settings 
                                 (pan control from ch.1 to ch.2)
    stereo pair 2 available only with 12 bit audio, recorded by some other camera
 PB MODE      AUTO, Hi8/8    autodetect type recording format, or force analog mode (Hi8,8) (playback only)


VF SET
